Learning to bake from box mixes, Monique has become a self-taught baker. Having a sister with Celiac Disease, her kitchen growing up was flour free. It was when taking a cooking class in her Hospitality Major at California State University, Long Beach, she discovered the healing powers of baking from scratch. Like many, she discovered more recipes during the pandemic. Graduating from CSULB 2020 with a B.A. in Consumer Affairs and minors in Hospitality Management and Fashion Merchandising, she understand customer needs before businesses and creativity. Using this as a healing outlet, Monique does this for enjoyment and through time has discovered many people enjoy her treats. This is simply a way to share such joys.
